Emerson Girls are some of my favorite stamps, so I was delighted to see one in her gallery. Then I could not find Rita, guess she is the ONLY Emerson stamp I don't have, so I had to substitute with a different image. I loved the colors in Pat's card, so I had to find one with a margarita!
OH and I actually STITCHED on my card just in your honor Pat! I love how stitched cards look, but I cannot sew a straight line or anything for that matter. This is one reason...so I decide I just have to add the stitching to the card as this is Pat's signature so to speak, I get out my sewing machine, the old one(at least 25-31 year old Singer, although I have a newer Janome that I haven't learned to use yet), and barely get started and I run out of bobbin! Have to fill the bobbin as the card has holes in it by now! Then to try to line it up in the same spot, whew that is stressful to me! I did get the bobbin loaded and finished stitching the card. I think I was able to hit the same holes, but don't look to closely!
Todays(Friday)Free for All was to make a card with a character on it. Well, Emerson Girls are certainly sassy little characters for sure!
Enjoy your day/week Pat!
Thanks for looking everyone and have a wonderful weekend!

Heheheh, Celisa, this card is a hoot, I need more of these sassy gals, for sure!
Right on with you hitting 2 challenges with one card!! Yay for you!! You say you struggle, but your stitching looks fine as wine (or whatever she is drinking!) You can always adopt that "meandering" stitch of Pat's!! Love these colors together and the panels and borders in the background layers. Perfect case of our Queen!! Hugs!

Celisa, oh how I love your Emerson Lady here with just the perfect sentiment! hehe Your stitching is spot on. I chose the faux kind, much quicker than trying to set up the ole sewing machine. Super fun card for the new Queen, Patricia. Love this! TFS :0)

Bwahahahaha! Work related....Sister, I sooo get that! Congrats on your first sewn card evah! You will now be hooked, as long as the bobbin holds out! What a sweet way to honor Pat. I love this sassy image, and your gorgeous papers. Delish my friend. Now, gimme a margarita, blended, no salt. Hugs.....
