 | | Used a forgotten book for my project. That made it easier for me to alter it. In fact I love books, don't like to destroy them this way!
Cut an aperture out of the cover of a hardback book and torned corresponding apertures out of its pages. This way I created a kind of shadow box.
Covered the entire book and the torn edges with a few layers of gesso.
Made the background with Distress Ink. I glued the girl in between the pages, elevated above the bottom layer.
