Every year until recently I took my sons to DC to see the cherry blossoms. I believe that our nation's capitol is never more beautiful. This year, we have something more special planned....
Used one of my Classy Brass stencils to sponge the flowers and pierce the branches. Used embroidery floss (3 strand) with a chain stitch to make the branches. Sponged some Versamark around the blossoms to give the effect of a cloud of pink and added some pearls. Stamped my favorite Kanji in Versamark and embossed with detail gold EP. Mounted on a MFP white card and done. PT - resting
Thank you so much for looking. Have a peaceful day.

We have a ton of cherry trees around here and I just love them!! Just don't park your card under any or you will have pink petals flying out your air ducts for months - don't ask me how I know LOL! Beautiful use of this stamp!

Sure wish I wasn't a "hurry up" Person -- then I would stitch like you do.

What great details you put into this stunning card Marie. I LOVE cherry blossom trees too. Only made it once to DC during that time of year. Great work!

Wow Marie - this is gorgeous. The colors are so pretty and that embroidery is impressive. This whole card portrays a peaceful feeling that matches your multi-lingual sentiment - I love when you do cards that have so many layers of meaning. WOW! Hugz!
