A lot of you may know my husband and I raise Quarter Horses. Well can you imagine the excitement in the horse world when they find out we have raised polka dotted horses!! They'll be worth millions!! Just having a little fun.
This is for the Twisted Sistah challenge. We were to make a child's card and it had to have yellow on it somewhere. I sponged Certainly Celery and Old Olive for my grass. Used a torn paper towel to do my sky and used Bashful Blue. I stamped my little horse and paper pieced him. Also paper pieced the saddle. I got a new die which is the little flowers. I forget which company it's from but I got it an Joan's Garden and they are colored with Copics. I cut a circle out to use for the sun and the put yellow Stickles on it and made my sun rays with it. Mounted this on Real Red. I have a cute round stamp that says Howdy that I may use inside. I think I will send this to my little cousin. She's 3. She loves the horses.
We would love to have you join the challenge. If you do use the Keywords: TSC0217
Thanks for looking. Hope you like it. The card was fun to make.

OK, it's a child's card which CAN be a birthday card, and it has some yellow on it; however, there's no out-of-the-box technique. Now, you could be sent to the back of the bus or even to the top of the bus for that BUT you get extra points for paper piecing!! So, one cancels out the other just like off-setting penalties in football!! LOL! I love how you did the sun and sky, too! Great job, my Sistah!!! LYMI

You did a cool job on those "posies" and the bright Yellow sun with the stickled rays - need to go get my sunglasses now!! LOL
