My CC362 Color challenge birthday card for our DD Jeani using Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue and Night of Navy. I used a new technique called Acrylic Distress that I learned from our March SU Stampin Success Demo magazine. It was fun, easy and with endless possibilities. I also used my new Label Collections Framelits from the Occasions Mini. Don't you just LOVE new toys ?!?
Acrylic Distressing:
Brayer or brush on a thin layer of Acrylic paint onto CS. Let Dry.
Put piece thru an EB folder..I used Finial Press.
Sand piece and then add an ink with a sponge dauber.
Then start playing....can die cut, punch or whatever to get the look you want. Great for a background or a main image. I sprayed my pieces with SU vanilla smooch to brighten the pieces.
Get creative and have fun. I have done I think 8 with diff. acrylic paints, CS, eb folders, inks, etc. Happy stamping :-)

This is so pretty! One of the things I admire about you as a stamper is that you are always anxious to try new techniques, and not allow yourself to be constrained by the known and comfortable. And all your new ventures turn out fabulous, like this one!
Very classy card, Nancy! I love the embossed acrylic frames and the mini clip holding the sentiment is so cute! The rhinestone is the perfect touch! Jeani will love it!
