I finally had a chance to play along in some challenges! This card is for this week's sketch SC372 and CC362 color challenge to use crumb cake, night of navy and bashful blue.
I knew I must try one! She was also so kind as to share a bottle template on her blog which is what I used for my bottle.
On my bottle I stamped the ship and then sponged my ocean water with bashful blue. To hide the water lines that this stamp has I made more water lines using a black gel pen and then a white gel pen. I colored my sails with a blender pen and crumb cake. I then sponged the whole bottle with sponge cake, then just the edges with soft suede and then early espresso. I then added just one layer of UTEE because I wanted my bottle to look old and kind of pitted.
My card layers are night of navy and crumb cake. I also used a blender pen and bashful blue on the compass star. All products used are Stampin Up!
