I decided to do another background using the wrinkle free distress technique...it's so much fun to get inky! This bird is a portion of a larger stamp...the full stamp shows more branches and flowers. I colored it with chalks and prismacolor pencils. The nest is made from many branches from a Cheery Lynn die.

WOW, Polly...talk about artists! From the thumbnail, I thought perhaps you had used some beautiful print that you had......but, no....you created this gorgeous work of art yourself. You certainly created magic with your pencils and chalks. I'm MOST impressed. A beautiful, beautiful card. Into my favs.

Polly, the way you achieved such soft, subtle color on the bird image is so beautiful and the layered branches are perfect - and of course, fab bg once again!

This bird took my breath away! Seriously, you colored him so fantastic! I love the softness of this card and the pop of orange on the flowers is perfect! I'm amazed~
