2 Notes: The card is white, the black is the background paper. My camera "died" a couple of weeks ago, therefore I have had to scan my cards. It's very hard to get decent pics when scanning light colors or 3-D (see the MMTPT185 I just uploaded.) IRL, the colors of this card are much brighter and you can clearly see the blue distressed edge, etc. But ... it is what it is. I'm hoping to get my new Nikkon on Friday. Can't wait!
The card: This is my first OLW (One Layer Wednesday) challenge card! I never thought I would be able to make a one layer card. I have tried many times to no avail. Though I have only been following Susan's blog for a short time, I have been inspired to again try to make them. This card was hard to make but fun to make. I hope to continue to participate in the challenges. I also hope to soon get my camera so I can post better pictures.
My FIVE circles: I stamped three large circles and there are lots of little circles on the ladybugs. I did not have any circle outline stamps so I stamped them in Ranger di broken China w/the open end of a plastic bottle. I "tried" to watercolor them inside to look like verigated colored grass. I stamped the ladybugs in PTI true black and watercolored them with SU real red. The row of cross stitch was stamped with Ranger di vintage photo. I used Ranger di broken China to stamp the Paper Smooches sentiment and ink the edges of the card.
THANK YOU for looking!
