Color challenge: Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue, Night of Navy. I've been wanting to make a sketch with this stamp set for some time now, so when I saw today's colors, I knew what I needed to do. I get intimidated with some of the techniques, so I shy away, this being one of them. I sponged the sky with each of the colors and the water with just navy. I masked the moon with my 3/4" circle punch, stamped the waves in navy and the boat, sentiment and gulls in black. I also stamped stars in the sky with Itty Bitty BG, but the white didn't show up white. Yeah, I'm done so now I can take a deep breath! Thanks for stopping in! ~Roberta

Way to go, Roberta. Scenes can be so intimidating and I have yet to master them. I love this night-time sailing scene you've created for us with today's colors.

Oh, I'm glad you held your breath and dove in headfirst! This is beautiful, you did a fabulous job of masking and sponging and working these colors in together for this peaceful scene - lovely card, my friend!
