The challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs Blog was to Case a card of someone we admire or follow - a tough challenge in my opinion. I don't know about you, but I follow quite a few blogs, and am inspired by so many of the talented stampers out there. Let alone the awesome design team at ODBD. To take some of the pressure off I chose a stamp and then went to the gallery - still not an easy choice. So, I randomly generated a number in my head and counted the cards until I landed on one - it was by Sandee S, so I cased hers. Seeing her name brought a smile to my face as I recently met Sandy at the Lawrenceville Stamp show where we both helped at the Our Daily Bread Designs Booth. The card was a relatively simple design and I am very pleased with it.

Aw...your card and your words are beautiful! Sandee is a fav of mine as well. How blessed you are to have met her IRL! (A tad jealous here....) Sherry, your cards always bring a feeling of peace. I love the Scriptures you chose. Beautiful work my friend!

This weathered wood background in that muted gray ink was the perfect choice for your lighthouse card. Love the verse you used - comforting to know that He always lights our path with the Light of His Word - the image of a lighthouse always brings that truth to mind - you have captured it beautifully here. So glad you got to work with Sandee - what a great time you must have had!! Hugs!!
