Hi Carol! Do you sand your stamps when you get them? One thing I learned when I took a tour of the Kanab plant when at Founders Circle, was that they use a "non stick" spray with their molds which is then left on the rubber after it is baked. Therefore, whenever you get a new stamp, you should always use your "SU" sanding block to rough up the surface.....not too hard though!!!! =)
I hope this will help you get a better stamped image!
Also, one other tip -- when I am using a large stamp like this, I always turn the stamp over and ink up the stamp backwards......in other words rather than stamping the stamp in the ink, I rub the ink pad on the stamp. Does that make sense?!
