I never seem to get to play in the color challenge but since I am some recovering from some surgery, I decided to play today. I actually had these colors: Soft Poppy Delight; Soft Suede; Poppy Parade, and Daffodil Delight. I love this Glitz Pack Laced with Grace paper - looks like Poppies (hope it is).
I found a few tutorials on how to make crepe paper poppies so I add a few (hope you can tell what they are).
I used the Deconstructed Sketch#37 for this card -Jen's sketches are so wonderful! Here is the link if you want to play too:

Your crepe paper poppies look like the ones the VFW distributed on Verterans' Day and Memorial Day. The card kind of evokes the same feelings as "On Flanders Field"-- a little mysterious and powerful. Good sentiment to match that feeling... wow.

Hope you are recovering well from your surgery.
Your card is so lovely, I really love the soft, dreamy quality of it with the muted image. So beautiful!

Love your crepe paper poppies! I am going to have to give those a try. Beautiful card! Hope you are recovering well from your surgery. I just had my shoulder worked on two weeks ago and it is slow going for sure....
