 | | I don't have any fishing stamps so I made my own fish for the MMTPT184 Challenge using a few Spellbinders Dies and a Cuttlebug Folder. The body of the fish is a Labels Four die cut, the top and bottom fins are the smaller Labels One die cuts, the tail is a Fancy Tags Two Die Cut and the middle fin is a leaf die cut from the Daisy Heads set. I used a brayer to apply Chocolate Chip Ink to my Spots & Dots embossing folder and ran the body through my Big Shot machine. I used the Scor-Buddy to make the score lines on the fins, then sponged them with Chocolate Chip Ink. Added a small heart punch for the mouth and I made the hook out of a SU "Pretties" kit hat pin...bet they never thought that one of the pretties would be used in a fish mouth!! :) The only feathery stuff that I could find around my house came from a glitter pen that my daughter had so it's pink, probably not my first choice, but that's all that I had. Made another Labels Four Die cut for the inside of the card and stamped it with a "Happy Healing" sentiment. Then I glued it all together. This was lots of fun to make! |
