This week's ribbon inspiration from Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is focused on ric rac or zig zag ribbon.
I ran a needle with thread through the center of the brown ric rac (1") and gathered it slightly. Then I attached the 3/8" natural velvet zig zag on top to cover the stitches.
The birdcage was an after though, but I'm really loving it :).
