 | | I was out shopping for some birthday presents for a friend today, and everything I bought for her is color blocked with these shades of coral and pink. Seems like a trend for Spring 2012.
So I made a card to match. I wanted to play in this week's Ways to Use It challenge, which was to make a card featuring repetition of images in honor of Groundhog's Day. I brought out the Simply Circles set, which I've never used because I used to have a lot of trouble getting solid images to stamp well. I've figured out some techniques that work, and am no longer avoiding my solid stamps.
I used Calypso Coral and Pixie Pink. The Pixie Pink was stamping blotchy, but I have a few older SU pads that do that. The ribbon is from the SAB pack.
This came out way more colorful than normal for me, but I think my friend will love it. |
