I stamped this last April, when I was first introduced to stamping. I had no idea what I was doing, or what I was going to do with it, so it went into a little box. And sat there till now. I can't remember exactly what color inks were used, just that I used the brayer on shiny paper. It dried overnight, then I stamped it with 'Inspired by Nature'. Everything is from Stampin' Up
When I read this week's CAS challenge I thought about that stamp. Although the puzzle shows a summer day, just the title Summer Gold makes me think of warm colors. Perhaps laying by the lake and looking to the sunset sky through the tall grasses.
Anyways....I stuck it on Cajun Craze card stock, and used a Spellbinders ribbon tag. I didn't have a stamp to fit the die, so I scanned the die, brought up my graphics program, looked through my gazillion fonts, and picked Polonaise (one of my favorites), and played till I found the right font size to fit the die. After it was printed and cut, I sponged it and attached it with a piece of ribbon.

This is super pretty - what great colors. I have actually always wanted that grass stamp but never ordered it - no idea why. I loved reading how you did your sentiment - very well done!

OMG...absolutely Stunning!!!!! Your brayering turned out so beautifully on the glossy white paper (not even any lines). You chose the perfect stamp for your beautiful background. Aren't you clever to scan and print your sentiment with such a beautiful font. TFS and can't wait for more of your beautiful creations.

Awesome job of brayering!!! Your card took me into the summer months - great finagling with your computer to get the sentiment just right - wish I knew how to do all that stuff - you are a whiz!
