I used Capella paper from basic Grey since I wanted a softer winter look without being overtly winter; that is no snowflakes, no poinsettias, no icicles or any other winter stuff n' such. I used a white gel pen to put snow on the roof top and ledge. The lighting of this image makes me think of the very short days in January, just as the days are getting longer, but shadows are frighteningly long at 2pm. At that time, the world has a soft golden glow that makes it feel alright despite the weak sun and frigid temperatures.

Your coloring is amazing and the image beautiful, as is your card - lovely and elegant! I just popped over to your blog and, it too, is just awesome. I went backwards on your posts and admired your coloring and cards.
