This is for two challlenges today. The first is the Twisted Sistah Challenge. We were given free rein pretty much. We would love to have you join us. If you decide to please use the keyword TSC0127. Shirt (wabbabcre8tive) issued the challenge.
The second is the Free for All challenge in which we were to use Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake papers. I had no problem with that because I love that combo. Thanks for this challenge I had fun making my card.
I started out with a base of chocolate chip then Crumb Cake which I used an ef on it then lightly sponged CC on the embossing. My next layer is some retired SU paper. One I hoard! I love it and boy am I going to be sorry when it's all gone. I distressed my edges and turned down the left corner slightly. My next layer was also distressed. Then I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with a SB die. I sponged it while it was still in the die with CC. I added my lace then some brown seed beads. (I bought these at Hobby Lobby and they are on a roll already stitched together.) I used the Cheery Lynn Olive Branch die and cut it in Old Olive and the same with the MS branch punch. Put the flower on top and my bow is silk ribbon. I am so in love with this color. Oh I also used a Cheery Lynn flourish and used part of it on the left side. Hope you like my card and thanks for looking!

This is just perfecto. So many elements to take in. Love the EF, the swirls and your flower/leaves. What really caught my eye...I know I'm weird...was that little extra touch of the curled paper peeking out of the top. It gives your layout just an extra bit of pop. LOVE IT.

And without faith, it is impossible to please God! Great scripture and you've showcased it beautifully! These colors look amazing together. Love that satin bow, use of the beads, lace and rose. Your sponging looks great too~
