I made a card a while ago for a sketch challenge and was never completely satisfied with it. Here's what it looked like before Sand Dollar Scripture by mamaxsix at Splitcoaststampers I decided to rework it just a bit as well as shifting to today's colors from the Free For All Challenge. I ran a piece of Crumb Cake through the Big Shot in the Perfect Polka Dots ef then sponged Chocolate Chip over the dots. I used the Distressed Texturz plate inked with Chocolate Chip to make the dark, wood grain piece. I stamped the sand dollar in Crumb Cake on Very Vanilla and used my Itty Bitty Backgrounds stamp to add the spatter and also sponged the edges. I used the same process on the sand dollar punched piece which has a punched circle behind it. I added my hemp piece then popped the lower sand dollar over this using a double layer of dimensionals.

I like the colors on this card better than the first one. I think they are more attractive, also the way you placed the punched sand dollars are very nice, especially with one behind the twine and one in front of it. Very soothing sympathy card!

such a great use of the sand dollar image- I am so thankful you posted this- as I have a stamp set that I couldn't get a handle on- and you have inspired me!

I like them both, but I'll bet you feel better now that you have reworked it. I do that sometimes if I'm not satisfied (and then sometimes it just goes in the trash!! LOL!).
