I wanted to put together a masculine Valentine's Day card for my DH, so I thought I'd use some regal looking dp in the b/g and on the hearts. It's from the SU Mocha Morning DSP which is one of my favorites.
I used the SU large heart punch for the center hearts backed with the scalloped heart embosslits. The 2 corner heart punches are from SU's triple heart punch. I used nesties for the matting behind the hearts and heart ef on the crumb cake layer.
I decided to use the SU heart border punch b/c it's not as feminine as my other heart border punch. Trying to keep it a "guy" thing!
I popped up all the hearts and the main image mat on dimensionals.
That's about it. I just thought the browns and striped dsp made for a good masculine look.
Thanks for taking a look.

It does! Your card is very LOVEly! Your DH will love it and surely appreciate that it's not too frilly! I ordered that DSP and have yet to open my package! After seeing how nice it looks on your card, maybe I will get it out?

What an awesome Valentine for your hubby. I don't have that paper collection, but I think I need to add it to my next order. Look at you go with all those Stampin' Up goodies. LOL...

Wow! What a super, masculine valentine...and not a cowboy in sight.
Well, this is just the best and I see it has been very popular. I see why, too. Good going. I'm sure DH will love the frills and lace were left out. LOL
