 | | This card is a demonstration of why I LOVE playing in the challenges. I am not a brights kind of gal, but when I'm pulled out of my comfort zone, I usually like the results. I didn't have a chance to play yesterday in the color challenge, but I had pulled out these papers and liked the boldness of the graphic designs with the black framing. I love Taylor's sketch from today's sketch challenge too! I liked the stripes in the dp and decided to repeat that in the bg by embossing. I put this card together kind of backwards...I hadn't picked an image or sentiment until the rest of the card was already put together. I thought the card was graphic enough to go masculine if desired, so I wanted to go with a more neutral image. I ended up with a die cut and an embossed black sentiment which is a Desmond Tutu quote. |
