Today's queen is Lisa Lara who well deserves the honor. She is a great example to me of "less-is-more" stamping and I learned so much by looking through her gallery. I have ear-marked several cards to CASE later, but for today I chose this one LSC217 If the Shade Fits.....Wear It. by lisa lara at Splitcoaststampers because I had an idea for a lamp sitting on my desk already! I had noticed when I double-punched a piece of cs with the designer label punch, that the "leftover" piece looked like a lamp base. (To make a cool, narrower piece you punch a whole designer label. Attach to a sticky note then reinsert into the punch a little less than half way. To end up with this piece...take the piece you have left and attach the stick note to the other side and reinsert and punch the same shape as the first.) I punched a half tab punch and added a brad on top to form my lamp. I layered this over a piece of striped gray dp and added some black gingham ribbon. This is framed with a black piece and slightly popped up onto a Whisper White base. I hand wrote the sentiment.
