Got a bunch of those transparencies for a penny and wondering what do to with them? Here's a card using one. The pink layer is actually on the front of the inside so you do have a place to write a message.

Dawn, I love this card! Where are you getting transparencies for a penny? I've been buying mine in a pack of ten for seven dollars!! Do tell about this wonderful bargain! Your card is awesome and I put it in my faves.

I got 3 packs of 100 for a penny each from Viking.com. You probably have read the fiasco over the envies. (I didn't get any the envies I ordered. Boohoo!) I only ordered 3 boxes b/c I didn't have any idea how I'd use them. And of course, a couple of days later...and I have this super fun NEED for transparencies. I told my husband last night, I only had enough to make 600 cards. And I told my mom I'd give her some so I wouldn't even be able to make that many cards. Of course, he fell down laughing. Hehe. Good luck finding some. Staples had "write on" transparencies for about 13 dollars for a box of 100.

Hi Dawn~ nice job on the card. Now I can't wait to get that alphabet soup set!! Another great use for transparency sheets is shaker cards. Stamped hugs, Dawn M.
