I was looking after my grand daughter - Nico today - she is home from school with a cold. We crafted all morning - making a beautifully bejeweled princess crown, purse and bracelet. Next she wanted to make a card for her MOMMY. She picked this cute little cow digi image (Beccy's Place#
and chose her colours and the pinked pink cardstock. I helped her just a wee bit with colouring the cows face. Nico sewed around the cow panel with a little help from Gramma. She wanted the sentiment to say "I love you". she cut out the pinked circle using the beloved Cuttlebug. She wanted purple flowers and purple rhinestone, plus the sparkley green paper for the grass. I sewed my wandering stitch around the pink base card.
Nico wanted to sew on her card - so she sits on my lap, I work the foot and she does lift and lower the lever and feeds the card through while stitching - try to keep it straight and not run over parts of the image or her fingers. She's doing very well, Then I did the wandering stitching around the base card.
Her Mommy (Kristy) absolutely loved her card.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Gramma Rose

Nico and Gramma Rose, you've created such a beautiful card for Mommy!!! I love the pretty pink, and your wonderful coloring, Nico - it's great Gramma is teaching you to sew, you're going to know how to do something lots of people older than you don't know how to do! I love this!

Oh, how very sweet!! You and your granddaughter Nico are so blessed to have each other. I think it's wonderful that she made a card for her mommy. She's quite the little crafter. I wonder what she will be like when she gets older. She's a real cutie.

Gramma Rose- you got a lil show stopper here! How beautiful! This challenge was made for you my friend, and I know Kristy had to feel so blessed to see a sewn work of art from her baby girl. Precious, and being brought up right! LYMI! Hugs x2
