This is for today's Ways to Use It challenge to use faux or real stitching and also for the Week 1 sketch of January's Viva la Verve challenges.
I sponged all edges with Distress inks and stitched the panels to the dp before attaching to the card base. I used a small square punch to make the fishtail edge on the banner sentiment.
This ribbon frays badly when cut at an angle so I sealed the edges with a lit match.
I met with a friend recently who is struggling to overcome a fear and feels it's nearly impossible so these Verve sentiments fit what I wanted to say perfectly... the heart pins are to represent the Bible verse on the inside of the card which has been very encouraging to her:
"Perfect love casts out fear.." I John 4:18
So with God's love and help I'm sure she WILL triumph over fear!
