I made this for a challenge at ODBD and had the date for the challenge wrong. I thought it closed this coming Friday and it was for last Friday. Guess I better pay better attention next time!!! This is also for the BVC12 Challenge here on SCS
My base is Basic Gray then some SU flocked paper. The teal layer is from Webster's Pages. I stamped the verse on WW with Basic Black. Popped the teal paper up with dimensionals. Used some Donna Salazar Mixed Media ink around the edges. I love this ink because when it dries it has a shimmer to it. I made my bow out of some organdy ribbon from CTMH that I have had 5 or 6 years. Added some teal pearls and a small strip of ribbon at the bottom.
Hope you like my card. Thanks for looking.

Sylvia,
What an elegant and lovely card! I love the beautiful verse and the color you've sponged around the circle which lights up your verse perfectly!

These deadlines get in the way all the time don't they? I have found myself in the same boat. So glad you posted this as it is really pretty. The sparkle on the gems and that lovely ribbon are great accents. And of course the verse as focal point is wonderful. Great card !!
