I got this new odbd set called the "simple things " and its challenge this week was to have something old and something new on your card, so a perfect way to first use my new set.
When I was going through my papers, I came across this sweet lil' one and the 2 together seemed a great match. SO I forgot to say so editing this in ...My new is from the new stamp set from ODBD..."simple things", and my old is my purple paper...its not years old, but its from my first book of papers I bought, which is nice to bring out every once in a while...:0)
I wanted to also honour our queen for the day this week " JUDY " avery lovely uplifting lady and such a wonderful gallery so I saw a few of her card with the pic. lifted over the edge which I thought was neat and a lot of her cards she outlines them per say in black, which I noticed really helps show them off so tried that by cutting out around all the edges...here is the one card I followed...WT312 embossed dots and flowers by jaydekay at Splitcoaststampers out her cool gallery..:0)...such wonderful work.
I also happend to see that today's thursday ways to use it challenge was to use stickers, which I like doing every once in a while so I added them to compliment my sentiment.
I water colored the picture and sponged the edges all around moved the bow from by the sentiment to up top, might still take it off not sure yet, because then it hides the top sticking out a bit, what do you think...?...Thank you for visiting...:0)

Wendy, this is Sweet as can be! I don't think the bow hides the top at all. it draws your eye up to see the tent topper style card! what a darling little scene and the perfect sentiment to compliment her.
I probable outline to many things in black, but I love how it really makes them pop and draw your eye to them..
thanks so much for casing one of my cards today.. it's very special!
hugs to ya!
