This year I made a couple dozen of these, all with different combinations of base colors and printed papers. I started making them a few years ago and every year I have to add names to the list and it's grown from 7 the first year to 24 this year. I think I'm going to have to start this summer on next year's batch. It's a easy and quick project:
Need:
1: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece card stock, scored at 3 1/2", 4 1/4", and 5", folded only in half at this stage.
1: 12 x12 piece of coordinating patterned paper, preferably printed on both sides. Cut it into 12 3 x 4 pieces.
* stack up the printed pages and center the top edge along the top, open side of the base and use a zutter (or other binding tool) to seal the top of the calendar and bind the pages to the base.
For the calendar, I used Excel to make my own, making sure the whole thing fit onto a 8 1/2 x 11 page and printed it onto a piece of white cardstock.
Cut out the calendars and affix one to each page of the calendar. To finish it, pop the final scored part of the base in on itself and it will stand up.
