This is my card for the Twisted Sisters challenge this week given by Pat - to to make a card celebrating "All things made new", and it's a free-for-all. Do what we want, and leave the p-i-n-k out to honor Sweet Tater!
I think this card also meets the challenge for the ODBDSLC91 this week "In with the new...out with the old" - I used a "new" to me stamp, and new flowers and a lot of old - ribbon, CL flourish die, old DP, OLD layering for the Scripture (no nesties) Does that work, girls???
I thought long and hard about this - another reason why I am so late - that and the after holiday blahs, putting away the Christmas stuff and getting back to normal stuff.
I stamped this Scripture with the intention to make this card at a friend's house but never got it done, so it was the first one I thought of when I saw this challenge, and what I can only hope to become, with His constant guidance . This card is on a base of bashful blue, with a chocolate layer, and a piece of DP I received (Thanks, Pat) used the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish die in both the chocolate and Bash Blue - with just plain layers, then a SBinder tag die for the top and bottom and popped it up on dimensionals over a piece of SU Choc satin ribbon. Added a couple flowers at the bottom that I just got at the LSS.
Thanks for looking!!

Oh Susie Q this is gorgeous! I love brown and blue together. Actually I like any color with brown. This is so elegant with your CL flourish and the way you framed the verse. Love everything about it.
