This is for the color challenge. Since I joined SU in November I have only been doing cards and I am falling way behind in my scrapbooking. I was determined to do a page. This is for my youngest daughter's book. I used the stamp ma-jig to do the border around the photo on the mat. Black marker was used to highlight the words and also the hearts. The tidy alphabet was kissed with the stamp from loving hearts. The mini envelope template was used to hide the journaling tag. The journaling reads: " Here is Daddy reading to Naomi. She was only 3 months old here but even at this early age Mommy knew she was going to be a bookworm. Now that she is 17 months old I find her always with a book in her hands. She is the first one to talk." On the outside of the envelope I stamped with everyday flexible phrases, "Special Time Together".

Very, very cute! And what a great picture. I think it's great that you did the color challenge on a scrapbook page-- I need to be doing the same thing, as I have fallen way behind on my scrapbooking. Thanks for the inspiration, and nice job!
This is so great. I just added it to my favorites. I NEVER would have thought to use orange and red together, but it looks so wonderful! Thanks for giving me some inspiration tonight to "go outside of the box" with different color combinations! You really made this work, and it is just adorable!
