For today's WT I've made a birthday card with some of my favourite things. I did start by getting out some Royal and Langnickel coffee-themed rub-ons (one of the best rub-ons out there, I think) in honour of Michelle but then the card went another way.
Fun folds are one of my favourites, so I tried out the new Six Fold Cardtutorial. I did a double-take when I first saw it, as it's so like the triangle trifold which I love, but this has an extra twist.
Other favourite things - birds, Basic Grey paper, music...
I used Basic Grey Marrakech for all the papers except the flower on the front which is plain white card embossed with Swiss Dots.
Bird (Spellbinders Bird Sanctuary) was sponged in the die with some green ink and popped up on foam. Branch is a scrap of brown cut with a die-namics die. The sentiment panel was cut with Mega Ovals, stamped with a HA sentiment and edged with Liquid Pearls. The ribbon is a bit wider than I'd like but was the most suitable colour I had. Flower is Sizzix Flowers Daisies #2, two of the largest and one smaller one. Each layer is popped up on foam, and I added a button for the centre. The front of the little flaps which open up to reveal the sentiment are decorated with Cuttlebug Vintage corners.

This is so pretty. I love that giant flower. I like how it looks all unfolded too. This 6 fold technique is similar to one I've done before, except I didn't make mine all out of one sheet. Have a blessed day Sabrina!!!

I think orange and blue together are so, so striking and appealing - I love the layering up of your daisy too! Good for you for trying the 6 fold - I need to be more adventurous in the area of trying new folds!!
