First for this week's color challenge (CC356). We were to use Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Basic Gray, Neutral (ivory or white), and the dessert option was something new. I tried to get as close to the colors as I could with my inventory. My DP is brand new, bought it today.
The second challenge is for today's sketch (SC366) which Taylor gave. I really had a difficult time figuring out what to do with the sketch, but once I started it seemed to fall right into place.
The image is an old one that I brought back out of hiding. Thought it would make for a great anniversary card for a cousin of mine. I colored the image with watercolor pencils and used a blending pen. I used a Copic marker to make the shading around the couple. Added the lace, paper flowers and brads, and called it quits while I was ahead.
Sure appreciate your looking. I hope my cousin enjoys it, and I hope you do too

Barb, what a stunning anniversary card for your cousin. Your new DP is lovely and the romantic image is perfect. The Copic enhancement around the figures really makes them "pop"....a wonderful touch. The touch of fine lace and blossoms finish it off. I'm sure this will be a "keeper" for your cousin.
