I should never check the challenges before I go to bed! When I saw that dessert was to use something new I couldn't resist. My sweet husband and loving parents bought me new goodies for Christmas. This card was originally oriented vertically so that is the direction my letterpress fans are going...oops, changed my mind at the end!
I inked my brand spankin' new letterpress plate with Versamark and ran a sheet of Island Indigo through the Big Shot. I die cut the little leaves in Lucky Limeade and sponged them a bit. The flowers are punched with the Itty Bitty Shapes 4 petal flower then sponged with Island Indigo. I used my Basic Gray marker to add centers then shaped them a bit by poking a stylus in the center. I had stamped the verse in black earlier and used a new Nestability circle to die cut it, sponged the edges in Gray then used my new piercing tool and mat pack to pierce the edge. I made a brad bow with Basic Grey Tafetta ribbon with a Vintage Trinket brad.

Beautifully done with the branch coming down onto the panel from the top, Gail - love that! And what a verse - there's not one of us that doesn't need to be reminded - over and over!

Gail, this is a beautiful card and love seeing all your new goodies put to creative use! Looks like we were both burning the midnight oil last night - lol!
