I'm loving all those tall cards from SC56, so I decided to make one for my brother for his serenity day. Tomorrow, he celebrates his 14th anniversary of sobriety. Praise God!
The idea for this card, with includes faux linen and faux stitching, has been brewing in my head for a couple of weeks. I used two layers of dimensionals to bring the watch up high enough to accommodate the hph. I trimmed the ring from the pocket watch to make it look more like a wristwatch.

I agree - this is a great card! He is going to be thrilled! And kudos to him for 14 years! I am so proud of him! That is just HUGE! Please let him know that all of us at SCS are very proud of him. And proud of you for standing beside him! :)

WOW, glad I saw your link in the forum as I was not home for month of January and missed so many gorgeous uploads -- this being one of them!! It was total withdrawal from my PC and stamps for a month -- can't imagine what it would be like to give up a habit for 14 years!! And yes, stamping is addictive to, as is anything that is done in excess. Congratualtions to your brother and you for a beautiful card!
