Tater gave the 1230 challenge this week for TSC and she said we should indicate what we like about Winter. Mostly, I hate Winter and can't wait until Spring, but we try and keep the birds fed, and I always enjoy watching them at the feeders, including the Cardinals. Thanks for taking a look.

Kathy, I love how your bird brightens the gallery! I am a fan of winter, but only because it gets over 100 degrees here, like forever! I love that you enjoy the birds. Me too, I come home everyday at lunch to refill my feeders and enjoy the music. Hugs sweet Sister!

Hey Cuz, we used the same set, but I just used the sentiment. We don't have cardinals in northern Nevada as far as I know. I think they do have them in southern Nevada though. They actually like warmer climates but have extended their range all the way up to southern Canada. I do like the snow in winter as long as I don't have to drive in it! LOL! You sure did a beautiful job on this card! Your coloring is wonderful! You nailed this challenge!

Kathy, beautiful cardinal! We love watching them in our feeder too. Have you every watched a couple? The male will swoop down to the feeder, grab a sunflower seed and fly back up to the branch upon which his mate waits and he feeds it to her. While she finishes it off, he swoops down for another seed for her. it is very sweet scene until another male shows up!!!!

Kathy, this regal cardinal looks magnificent, perched on the front of your card! You always pick just the right nestie for your images, and the added brads and sponging really make it stand out!! That gold netting just makes this POP! You are so lucky to get to see them - we don't have cardinals so much in this area - may have only seen them a few times in my life, but they sure are pretty!
Thanks for sharing yours with us! LYMI! hugs!

Kathy - this is really pretty - great coloring and awesome ribbon. I don't like winter either, but the birds are special!

Love your gold netting and the cardinal is gorgeous. I don't find much I like about winter either. I guess the only thing would be a good snow as we don't get much down south. Last year was really good, though.
