I probably should call this bubbling seas instead. I tried a new technique and here is the tutorial:
*tell your handy husband that you need something that has texture to it that you can mix with ink - he gives you some old clear Kitchen and Bath silicone
*next you use all your energy to try and get some out of the tube (did I mention it was really old)
*next you squirt it on the lid of your ink and mix it with the ink you have mixed there
*then you take the edge of the tube and mix it all together until it is blue
*then you scoop up some of the mixture and put it on your card to look like a stormy sea
*it doesn't want to stick so you take a toothpick and try to make it stick
*then it doesnt' want to dry so after 5 hours, you add Crystal Effects to it so at least there will be a protective shell over the pesky silicone!
The video is so comical that I fear posting it because you would all laugh all day/night and get nothing else done!
This week's ODBD challenge is to use an ODBD stamp - how hard is that? Here are the details if you are interested in joining us Bread lovers:

Five hours - yikes, I'd have given up waiting long before that. But truly, it does look wonderful; well worth the wait. I think I'll pass on trying it myself, perhaps, even though I'm sure we have some of that silicone stuff in the shed. TBH I hate that stuff, I've tried using the one they sell for paper-tole, but gave up on it.

Well....it may not have worked the way you expected, but it looks cool! Great scissorwork on the ship and I love the way your ef highlights your sentiment.

It may have taken some time to create, but it was well worthwhile! This is gorgeous! Love that embossed BG and the textured "water" is very unique! Thanks for playing along with us at ODBD Shining the Light challenge!

Nancy, what an awesome card and a great technique. Do I dare try it???? Probably not. That 'pesky' silicone would finish me off. Love your embossing folder and wonderful message.

I was laughing so hard at your comments on how you did the water - that I had tears in my eyes! But, your water looks great and your card is gorgeous and elegant!!
