This is for IC317 and Embroidery Everywhere is our inspiration site today. I was inspired by Floral Spray Embroidery http://www.etsy.com/listing/72835342...red-flour-sack It is no secret that I have become obsessed with making paper flowers. I find it so fulfilling to create and arrange flowers on card fronts. It reminds me so much of my mother and her flower shop. Nothing I make can come close to the fabulous designs my mother used to make. She was such an extremely talented designer. I know she would love these mini floral creations.
I created this using the odd rule of 1, 3, 5, etc for design. I used two individual larger pink flowers and then filled in with 3 blue, 3 darker pink and 3 yellow and added some tiny white and blue flowers. The foliage was created with several differnt dies and punches. I thought the all white background and frame would allow the flowers to pop. I added clear stickles to the flower centers for a little sparkle but it doesn't show in the photo.

Wow. Wow wow wow. Wow wow wow wow wow. (Using the 1, 3, 5 rule to express myself.) I've been absent from the galleries for some time and what sheer delight to pop in today and discover this beauty! They say "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" and I'd say with your designing skills that would certainly be true. Absolutely lovely. Happy New Year!
