Thanks Toni for the great challenge. Not sure where this card came from other than I wanted to try using those teeny tiny beads. Several ideas came to mind but went with a peel and stick image that would work with beads......which I now have everywhere on my kraft table! Those suckers roll so quickly I couldn't stop them. Oh well....
Wasn't going to post this. It looks much better IRL.. So please go easy on me.
Started out with the peel and stick bird image. Put glue in spots with a brush then added the beads...repeated the process for the different colors.
The sky was colored in with a prisma pencil then blended with gamsol. Stamped and clear ep the clouds on glossy cs, cutting them out and popping a few up.
Used a Memory Box die cut for the houses and trees and hill. Light coloring with a prisma pencil, stickles and then doodled. Sponged on whisper white then white ep for the snow.
Added lots of liquid pearls for the snow hoping that maybe it will encourage snow to fall from the sky up in our very dry mountains. DH needs to go snowboarding!
Well, that's it.....thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!.....:0)

Your mosaic birdie is wonderful! I know what you mean about the micro beads..that's why I picked the much larger seed beads to work with ..ha! The houses and trees border is way cool..love the snow accents!

I love your cute beaded birdie and this snowy scene, Cathy!! Maybe all those pesky rolly polly beads can be used to seed the clouds for snow... okay, that was a stretch. I am impressed at the changes in colors of the beads , good thing they are small so you don't go rolling around on them. hehehe! These things are almost as bad as glitter, you find them everywhere.
I am in agreement with you, we need the snow and rain!

WOW!!! You got all those tiny little things onto the bird in different colors??? Amazing! It's a cute birdie too, and I love your snowflakes and the die cut rolling hill - I've had my eye on that die!

You are WAY too hard on yourself! This is darling. I am completely impressed that you beaded the bird! Sounds like some kind of weird game! The liquid snow gives it a great look, too. Another Mutnik winner!
