This is for today's Free for All challenge to make a tri-fold card - I thought this week's MFT sketch would be perfect for it, so this card opens up from the top with the scallops along the opening edge. I rarely make these, so it was a fun challenge! All edges have been sponged with Ranger Distress inks. I stamped the snowflakes as a bg for the mugs of cocoa. I don't have any tab dies so I used a small Nesties Labels One for a sentiment tab. My card is for a friend who's still really feeling the loss of her Dad at holiday times so I didn't want to send a card that said Merry Christmas.

The colors on this beauty are so warm and inviting! I sure could use some cocoa cuddles! It is wicked cold here at 7 degrees and a foot of snow. I just carried the trash and recycling to the curb.....off to get some cocoa!

Sensational! I really love the color palette and the way you have colored the top of the cocoa to look like the marshmallows are melting...genius! It looks so yummy...maybe I will go make a hot drink....

Those layered scallops are gorgeous, I think I'll have to add that die to my wish list!
I know what you mean, too - it was several years after my mother died before I actually felt I could put Happy Christmas on cards to my dad. I'm sure your friend will really appreciate this.

love the detailing you did- the baker's twine, the perky red polka dot border, the button, and a super cute image. Such a wonderful card, goes on my Favorites list!

I knew this was your card at first glance, Bridget! You use the prettiest colors and your cards always stand out! The twine with buttons and polka dot ribbon are perfect accessories for the polka dots and stripes in your dp! Your friend is going to love this card, and you are so thoughtful of her needs! I like this card sponged and those great looking scallops on the bottom! Merry Christmas!
