The background was an attempt at faux linen but it didnít turn out very well for that technique. So I wanted to use it anyway and just stamped it with Soft Swirl. I guess it was the chalk ink still being damp that caused the image to fade into an almost invisible image. Kind of a cool fluke!
The tabs are done with the slit punch. The image is colored with chalks/pastels. Direct to paper was done on the edge of the lavender.
I gave this to a friend as a thank you for a Christmas gift.

Beautiful, as usual, Rox! I love the colors. How did you apply the lavender chalk to the postage pannel? Is it sponged? I really like that effect. The background is very pretty. Isn't it fun to find something so pretty by mistake? TFS!
