I wanted to do something other than a wreath with this pine branch. This idea has been in my head for awhile, I finally put it to paper.
The boot is one my LSS gave to me when she was making samples for a customer. Every time I see it I would ask what do I do with this? Well, here's what I did, making an entry way Christmas tree potted in a boot.
It took some doing to get the tree correct, but it finally all came together. The branches are mounted to a tall triangle, that is mounted to the top back of the boot. The branches have been punched from both sides of the c/s to get them facing in both directions.
After all the branches are adhered (about 50 to 60 of them) I put the tree and boot on the brick wall bg. The star is adhered and then all the little crystals (about 40 to 50), which portray Christmas lights.
The toe and heel of the boot have been distressed a little and the bottom has been colored with a black Sharpie. The bow is tied and adhered to the boot.
This is a Christmas tree that would go in an entry way to the front door.

Now this is one baby you do not plop into the mailbox! Fantastic job. That whir you hear is the pine tree branch punches warming up all over the continent!

What a terrific idea Jennifer!! I love how creative you were with this. It must have taken a bit of patience to create the tree. I love how you have put it in the boot and even created its atmosphere by making the brick wall. I love this - your idea has come to beautiful fruition.
