I should have just titled this "pride goes before a fall" I was bragging to my husband that I was being smart for once and heading to bed instead of stamping another card, but first I had to go down and make sure I didn't leave any inks lying open on my desk! Half hour later here I am!
I'm so excited about this new technique shared during VSN to make "frosted" images. I simply stamped my snowflakes in Not Quite Navy then over stamped with Whisper White. So glad she said it was OK to not line up exactly since I was trying to make a quick card and didn't want to get out my stampamajig. Then, you just rub your finger around the image to make the frosty look. I also dipped my finger into the white ink and smeared a few swirls around the card as I was keeping it CAS. Stamped the greeting and added some tiny rhinestones and called it done.
