Thanks Roxie for a wonderful sketch this week. I am revisiting my stamps in repeating the theme for this card You add, a SC219 offering for my sweet son back in the Spring of 2009. Recently he came to me to ask if I would mind if he gave it to his geography teacher. What could I say...my heart was filled to overflowing with his tenderness (this is a 16 year old). So I removed the front panel, added another base, and gave him an envelope. And in the back of my mind I knew I'd have to create another one for him.
The Moxie Fab Home Inspired Decor challenge was also an impetus for getting this completed. Globe. Check it out.
Those Kid's Quotes are just too special, don't you think? And I Brake for Stamps standing globe is wonderful. I used an old piece of map paper, Heidi Swapp map tape and a piece of My Mind's Eye Stella Rose 'Hattie Buddies' double sided. It is finished off with tiny staples (I used staples on the original) and metal photo corners that I colored with Copics.
Thank you for the gift of your comments, I love to hear your stories...

AWESOME CARD, Susan. You do ponder a lot don't you! This is perfect with your sentiment, perfectly cut globe, map and that puzzle piece. All fits so well. You are very good at this. I love your card.

A classic Susan card - wonderful use of papers and a fantastic sentiment + visual. That Oregon microbrew sounds good - and you can count my sister in with me, I know she'd love some.
So - you don't have any snowmen but you have at least two globes, of which I don't have any .

I am so in love with this card, and the wonderful story of your son!! You ABSOLUTELY have to make MANY copies of this card with this fabulous saying (this is the only one of the kid sayings I don't have. Can you imagine???), if only to keep giving him one. Thanks so much for sharing it with us, Susan!
