Denise challenged us to use twine in our cards today. I just got this green waxed twine from MFP, so I decided to use it...
I split the twine at 1/2'' intervals and cut half of the fibers, fraying them out (I used two pieces of twine and twisted them together). Stamped the bricks from PTI Home Made in Fired Brick on MFP Atlantic Spray. Stamped/masked the pine trees from Lovely as a Tree in Forest Moss and Memento Cottage Ivy on a Flourishes white card, then drew in a sidewalk and footprints. Mounted the brick wall, added the roping and the bows, squiggled liquid applique on all and heat set. Added stickles, stamped the sentiment in Fired Brick and done. Sorry for the dark picture, bad light day.
Thanks so much for looking. Have a peaceful day.

Marie, this is a WOW card. Your scenery is done so cleverly and detailed. The red bricks, matching ribbon, garland and applique are SUPERB! Those red bricks really got me!! Hugs!

So warm (yes, a snow scene can be warm) and lovely. Your swag is gorgeous and you have done a wonderful job setting the whole scene. I, too, love the sentiment.
