Journaling reads: This was the first time Grandma Katie had met her namesake Katie, now 10 weeks old.
The roads were good as we drove from Lincoln to Wessington Springs. It was the first time we had been to a Caffee Christmas in years, this time we gathered in the new wing of the nursing home.
Grandma looked good and visited with everyone. Baby Katie was more interested in the ceiling fans and lights than the people that were trying to get her attention.
We took some pictures including a five generation picture with Grandma, Dad, Me, Jennifer and Katie.
Roland, Jeri, Neal and Verla had made soups, the rest was potluck. They (including Grandma) were playing pitch (one of Grandma’s favorite card games) when we left.
