 | | The challenge: create some wearable art! I've made a pendant strung onto a piece of Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon.
To make the pendant: cut 1/2" strips of card stock, score in half length wise and fold along score line. Starting with one colour, roll the folded piece of card stock around a skewer to start the roll. Then using a hot glue gun for adhesive, keep rolling around adding either the same colour again or switch colours as the pendant gets larger. I added a rhinestone to the centre to cover it up. A piece of bakers twine was used to link the pendant to the taffeta ribbon. There is a punched circle hot glued on the back to finish it. |
