Inspired New Year

When I saw this New Year's Ornament http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/c...xx.esn_results I was inspired to try my hand at a New Year's card using this Tim Holtz ef, Pocket Watches. I inked up the ef with Early Espresso and ran a piece of River Rock cs through the Big Shot in it. I also sponged some added color on. I used a Versarmarker to embossed the clock hands in gold. I embossed my greeting in Cherry Cobbler and Versamark with clear ep and sponged the edges. I layered onto a frame of Early Espresso and base of Cherry Cobbler and added a Cherry Cobbler and Antique brad bow.

Loving that folder - and those touches of gold really take it up a notch. It reminds me so much of when most watches were mechanical, we loved taking them apart and seeing inside.
