Cutting Our Tree

Photo Details
Poster: busyhoneybee

I recall, when I was younger, going out with the family and cutting our own tree. Now it is a bit harder to just go and do that. You have to pay to get a license to cut your own tree or you can go to a tree farm and pick out a tree, then cut it yourself – or have the tree farmer cut it for you. We have done that a few times with our kids (gone to a tree farm). This Whoopsi Daisy image (from sheet #281) reminds me of those days. My son wanting to cut the tree, my oldest daughter insisting on THE tree being the one she chose. Oh those were the days. :D Happy Memories!

I had my Mom here from out of state last week. We sat down and did a card together (we each did our own, at the same time). I got to teach her how to use my Big Kick and dies. It is funny how our cards were made almost the same, but came out so differently. I didn’t add a picture of hers (she wasn’t happy with how hers turned out since the color bled some when she colored the faces); but here is mine!

This is an adorable card. You should keep your Mom's card and make a scrapbooking page around it if you scrap.
