I did one card for both challenges today. Trish has selected DawnL to be Queen for the Day. Dawn is a Dirty Girl from WAY BACK....and has a HUGE gallery to prove it. As far as a CASE, I took the easy way out and picked a card from page 1. : ) I liked her snowy scene through the French doors of her GATE FOLD CARD. I used a window die, changed the layout and used a black/white palette with shades of gray inbetween.
Wendybell's challenge for F4A was to do a black and white card. I thought the card was getting rather funereal looking and added the red border...OK, I cheated, but in my mind, it makes the card more sendable.

This is beautiful! I love that image of the snowman...he's so heartwarmingly cute! I don't get the funeral feel at all...I think it's a lovely, wintry card~
