Hi all!
Slowpoke me, just getting to the tea party this week, late as usual - well, it will be just fine - the more Neil's cards get spread out, the more he will enjoy them. He was just in a bad motorcycle accident that left him a quadriplegic. To see his story , go HERE He is upbeat, even though he will not be able to ride again.
FOr this card, we were told to bring CHOPPERS for Neil!! I used the diamond plate EF for the background, and hand drew the outline of HD, in both Black and Orange, added a lot of shimmer on this motorcycle and some corners - easy card and turned out pretty cool looking. Thanks for looking. My card will be in the mail to Neil as soon as I finish writing to him!

Great work hand-drawing the label, I was sure it was some die. This has been a week for that Diamond Plate ef, it's so perfect for motor/guy cards.
Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving today.
Hugs

Oh yah! A wonderful show of metal and sparkle! How does one do a glitzy, shiny, sparkley masculine card? Like Irishgreensue's, that's how! Ooh, I love it...that cuttlebuggin background is so awesome....and the motorcycle! It would give West Coast Choppers a run for their money! Ha! Love it Sue....thanks so much for making it so special for Neil! Love the *harley* shape! Is that a nestie? Ha!

Love the bike IN the harley logo. Awesome card. That diamond plate ef is a good one for masculine ones. I have loved seeing it in brown and black too (note to self!) Simple you said, but lots of great detail and fab job. Neil will love this and thanks so much for making it for him. And you're right, I like to see the cards spread out for the recipient.

How clever to place the image on the interstate sign. Like the manly background and pumpkin pie colors. Food (pumpkin pie) and a machine, what more does a man want? Well maybe a cold beer. lol
